MUSEUM MINNOWS

This free program is for kiddos from 0 – 2 years old and their caregivers (heavy involvement). We will be meeting the third Tuesday of each month September through May. We will be providing hands-on learning and art making experiences focusing on the connection between art and our senses.

  • October 21 ---- Hearing
  • November 18 ---- Touch
  • December 16 ---- Smell
  • January ---- NO MINNOWS
  • February  17 ---- Balance
  • March 17 ---- Movement (body awareness external)
  • April ----  Taste  ~AT HOME PACKET~
  • May 19 ---- Interoception (awareness of internal state)

Know before you go!
  • Activities are geared to those 0-2 but 3-4yr old siblings are invited 
  • Two 30 minute sessions, starting at 10am and 10:30am: 15ish minutes story / close looking + 15ish minutes sensory activity / art making
  • Museum Minnows is held in the Lower Level Gallery at the COLOR! exhibition
  • Registration not required but highly encouraged
