Plein Air events
Come see 50+ artists working on the streets of downtown Springville, Saturday Sep 16th from 8:30am-2:00pm. Vote on your favorite at Civic Center Park from 2:00-3:00pm. Awards will be announced on the Main Stage at Civic Center Park at 4:30pm.
Treat yourself to a lovely late summer day in beautiful downtown Springville City! Whether you favor sweeping scenic views of the magnificent Wasatch mountains, intimate outdoor scenery, or historic buildings, we have it all!
The Plein Air events are being held during the Annual Springville Art Festival on Saturday, September 16, 2023. The Art Festival will also feature artists booths, live performance stages, eating area with food trucks, kid’s art activities, a chalk competition, and more!
We are encouraging all levels of participation from professionals to adult amateurs and youth. Art should be fun and inclusive. Come learn from each other and discover the joys of creating outdoors!

*This is a FREE event, pre-registration is appreciated.
Registration:
• Pre-register through September 9, 2023
• Check-in / Register day of event, 8 am – 9 am, at Springville Museum of Art, 126 E 400 S, Springville, UT.
• Creation will start after you are checked in and works are due by 2:00 pm at the Springville Civic Center, 110 S. Main St., Springville, UT.
• People’s Choice Voting will be held from 2:00-3:00pm.
• Awards presentation at 4:30 p.m. at the Main Stage at Civic Center Park.
• Works must be picked up from exhibition area by 6:00pm.
