Local sculptor Korry Bird is renowned for his ability to capture the realism and essence of nature and wildlife in his sculptures. A native of Springville, Bird’s art career began as a young boy sketching the wildlife and flora of his hometown. He studied under the sculptors Stanley Q. Johnson and Edward J. Fraughton, where he mastered the lost-wax process of bronze sculpting and gained experience building and running a foundry. The exhibit will feature over thirty of Korry Bird’s dynamic works in bronze.
