Community and Family night in July will be replaced with the Community Celebration & Dedication of the Museum's new Stewart Sculpture Garden. This event will be held July 6, at 7:00 pm. Please see the home page for more information.
Community and Family night will resume on August 3. The guest artist for the month is Fidalis Beuhler.
Beuhler has spent 15-20 years in the South Pacific, and his creative work examines identity constructs through memory impulse- fusing his American culture and South Pacific heritage.
The entertainment will be provided by the
band
“Silver Rails,” formerly called The Cluffs. The band consists of Leah Cluff on Fiddle, Daniel Cluff on banjo and lead vocals, Sheri Cluff on guitar, Daniel Riggs on fiddle, Sarah Cluff on mandolin, guitar and lead vocals, and Emma Cluff on bass. The band enjoys playing many types of bluegrass music, adding their own unique style. From very traditional intrumentals and vocals to celtic pieces and originals, their variety sets them apart from most local groups.
The program and activities will be held in the new StewartSculptureGarden (weather permitting).The evening will start at 6:00 pm, is appropriate for all ages and will provide an educational, entertaining, and hands-on art experience for everyone!
To end the evening, there will be a children's art project based on the Guest Artist presentation.
The galleries will be open throughout the evening. Visit Utah's first Museum for the visual fine arts! Explore the Museum and enjoy our fine collection of both Utah and Soviet art. Current special exhibits include the 85th Annual Spring Salon and Redrock, Sage, and Piño,. The public is also welcome to visit the Museum Tuesday – Saturday 10-5, Wednesday 10-9, and Sunday 3-6. Closed Mondays (except for Community & Family Night hours) and Holidays. Located at 126 E. 400 S. in Springville, the Museum is free of charge and open to the public.
